We have a vacancy for a Site Engineer to join the production team working in the North East on the Sunderland Schools project. The successful candidate would be responsible for ensuring technical controls are provided for all construction activities in line with safety, quality and environmental systems.
The main duties of the post will include:
Assist in ensuring that the highest possible safety standards are implemented and maintained at all times.
Ensure design information is accurate and available to all construction activities to proceed efficiently and the translation of design information to workface.
Provide accurate setting out and dimensional control and as built survey information.
Run and maintain all necessary quality and environmental systems in line with site procedures.
Support site commercial team by providing clear records of site and or design changes.
Assist with monitoring and co-ordinating sub contract packages.
Resolve with design team and document all changes necessary to maintain efficient site progress.
Ensure accurate dimensional and quality control.

You will preferably have the following:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience in a similar role in the Construction Industry
- Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
