Senior C# / ASP.NET Developer is required for a leading MS Gold Partner based in Sunderland / Newcastle, County Durham. You must have strong .NET skills in C# & ASP.NET, coupled with SQL Server.

THE ROLE:

This is an enviable opportunity to join an expanding and successful team based in Sunderland / Newcastle. This company employ over 3000 people across Europe and your career path will be clear and rapid. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be developing bespoke .NET / C# / ASP.NET software applications / solutions using Microsoft Products. You will be liaising closely with all internal teams and be working on external projects with the opportunity to be client facing. You will be writing C# / ASP.NET code and be involved with system architecture and design. The role will see you working on .NET, HTML, XML, SQL Server / Oracle, and also gaining experience with Content Management Solutions like SharePoint, MOSS and EpiServer.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You must have good .NET development skills with C# & ASP.NET. You will also ideally have experience of the full lifecycle in previous roles. Strong SQL Server 2000 skills and any 2005 (SSIS, SSRS or SSAS) will be beneficial - though not essential. They also require someone who is forward thinking, flexible, able to prioritise and have good communication skills.

The ideal candidate may also benefit from a Computer related degree, MCP, MCTS, MCSD, MCPD or MCAD - though not essential, as full and ongoing training is provided.

This role will be based in Sunderland / Newcastle, County Durham, but also commutable from Middlesbrough, Darlington, Consett, Newburn or Hartlepool. Candidates must be able to commute or be able to relocate.

SALARY:

Salary £35 - 45k basic + bonus + excellent benefits
