Hays Healthcare are currently working closely with one of the large NHS Trusts in the North East of England and are looking to recruit a SHO/FY2 Doctor to join a busy orthopaedic Department.

The hospital contains approximately 1000 beds, including acute adult orthopaedic beds and paediatric orthopaedic beds. Although the Hospital also contains a large Accident and Emergency Department that is staffed independently of the Orthopaedic Department, the Trust Senior House Officer in Orthopaedics will be involved in the early treatment of trauma in Accident and Emergency.

The Department is a busy acute and elective orthopaedic unit, covering the full range of orthopaedic specialties. The Unit is a secondary referral centre within the Region for complex trauma surgery.
