Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant you will require a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or similar care related subject, plus up-to-date Moving and Handling, First Aid and Food Hygiene training. Medication training would be preferable but not essential. You should also have a proven ability of working with elderly service users in a care setting.

The residents you will work with need support workers to help with both physical and emotional support. The role involves providing personal care and one-to-one support for service users. Good communication skills are essential.

This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated care assistant to help people and for the right candidates may well lead to a permanent position. Shift work is available both days and nights. Own transport would be ideal although not essential. CRB checks and references are required.
